Rajat Kumar Sarkar. Having an Industry experience of more than 23 years encompassing IT, Power and Steel, he is on a mission to improve the productivity of industrial processes and workforce through his unique 10-point quality approach. Having wide exposure to Quality Concepts and numerous publications in National and International forums, he has completed several consultancy assignments. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, he believes that the present-day industry can thrive the cutthroat competition only with empowered people and processes through diligent sharing of knowledge.

A member of the Quality Circle Forum of India and a Certified Jury for its national and international conventions. He has mentored various quality circle teams across industries and has presented several papers at Chapter and National conventions. He was also been the jury at the International Convention on Quality convention at Jakarta, Indonesia. Has been instrumental in bringing quality improvements in IT and Steel industry projects and is a Six Sigma, 5s, TQM practitioner. Having contributed immensely to IT projects of MNCs in India as well as the USA, he has a wide range of expertise in realising, zero-defect product delivery systems.

Does have the credit for strengthening safe working practices in the Steel industry. He has a wide range of experience in the implementation of Safety Standards, Incident Investigation and the use of Digital technology in strengthening safety infrastructure.
